Children in taxis
Did you know that in Switzerland car seats are mandatory for all children up to 12 years and shorter than 1,50 meter getting a ride in a taxi? It’s best to pre-book a taxi and ask for a car seat but expect to pay around CHF 30 for it.
That’s interesting as this additional fee is actually illegal as researched by the Swiss consumer http://www.ktipp.ch/artikel/d/illegaler-zuschlag-fuer-einen-kindersitz/
The result of the mentioned motion to abolish this requirement, was denied. The link to the English page on parliament.ch is actually in French ;), so here is the German link: http://www.parlament.ch/d/suche/seiten/geschaefte.aspx?gesch_id=20101059
