Condensed First Aid on Children

Parents, parents-to-be, grandparents and anyone else caring for children from early infancy and toddlers will learn the most important life saving and basic first aid skills in this condensed course. Upon completion, participants will have the knowledge and the confidence to deal with a sick child or a child in the most common medical emergencies.

This course gives an overview of the following topics:

  • important concepts of first aid
  • emergency numbers and rescue services in Switzerland
  • unconsciousness
  • cardiac arrest & CPR
  • choking
  • seizures
  • burns
  • fever
  • cough, colds and ear infections

During the life saving part, participants will learn to recognise and manage unconsciousness and choking and to perform CPR on infants, children and adults.

This course takes place at the LiLi Centre on Alpenquai 40a in Luzern.

The course fee is CHF 120 for LiLi members and  CHF 135 for non-members. Payment will be due in cash in the course.
